Our goal at Horseshoe K Ranch is to provide the best experience possible as we offer world class pheasant hunting, hearty home-style cooking and of course, a heaping helping of South Dakota hospitality.

Our Facilities
We have four main onsite lodging facilities with each equipped with spacious rooms and a great view. They have full living accommodations including a kitchenette, TV/Recreation area, bedrooms, bathrooms, access to our fire pits and much more!
Horseshoe K Ranch can also host your reunion, retreat, meeting or is a destination to just come and relax! Contact us for booking these opportunities.
A typical day at the Ranch can be as active or relaxing as you want it to be.

A big, home-cooked breakfast in the main lodge will prepare you for your day in the field. The menu changes from day-to-day, but be assured the morning breakfast is legendary among the regular hunters.

At around 10:00 am, your guide will pick you up at your lodge. The HKR guiding staff is composed of avid hunters with experienced Labrador hunting dogs. They know every section of the ranch and use their experience to make your hunting trip a successful one.

After the hunt, it's back to your lodge for a snack and beverages. There will be time to relax and enjoy the ranch.

In South Dakota we refer to the evening meal as supper. No matter what it's called, you can count on it being a delicious meal that you will fondly remember upon returning home.
